Research area:
Area of
specialization: Philosophy of mind and philosophy of cognitive science. Currently dissertating on
the role of rationality in psychological explanations of human intuitive
judgment and the behavior of nonlinguistic animals. Secondary interests include the cognitive
science of learning, artificial intelligence, animal cognition, the
connectionism/ classicism debate, the psychological origins and epistemic
status of intuitions, and experimental philosophy

assignment design, and lecture skills.

assisted Peace Corps volunteer Shenan Moisechek with assignment and lesson plan
design.

o Repaired and maintained computers at several area schools
for Savusavu Rotary Club.
o Advised Rava Computer Club—arranged agreement to relocate
computer donated to Rava Computer Club to Rava Kindergarten building, which
allowed Kindergarten instructors use of computer for classes and villagers free
access to computer after hours.
